And now you get to spend New Year's Day with your NOTHING friends........lucky you!

My husband and I went to bed and woke up this morning saying for us it is a year of anticipation, excitement, decisions, and many unknowns to be worked out, but we are hopeful for the best year yet. Today is January 1, 2019 - Happy New Year and Happy First Anniversary of the NOTHING thread!
I read from 10:20 PM on until I got too tired. Trying to finish a book before I send a package of books to my older brother for his BD in a few weeks. He and I both like Simon Scarrow's series on Macro and Cato. Two Roman soldiers in the period around 42 AD to 55 AD, so far. Some good reads but do not seem that popular here in the US. More widely read in Great Britain as many of this books are about the early history of England and their encounters with Romans. Exciting and not for NOTHING.

The dog also wants a lot of attention when he is in bed. I should be glad I do not have a woman in there too as I would never get the book finished. I am working on that part of my life though just hard to pick the right lady as the wrong one can really mess you up in many ways more than one. I do have a history of choosing badly where women are concerned. I only do serious relationships so it makes that much more harder. And a whole lot more is going on with my hobbies than ever before. I would need someone to help with those and more importantly grasp their importance and know how to help. Had thought I found someone in a nurse who had been married to a lawyer but I cannot for the life of me figure this woman out. She is a "riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma; but perhaps there is a key".
