First Boomer convinces me to sit on a rubber ball at the computer, now it's a wii, what is next?

OK, OK, I'm convinced. Just wondering, approximate cost?
Hi Barefoot,

I have the wii Sports version. The wii Fit was out of stock. The opening date on this thread was 6 months ago, almost exactly. The supply of these things has been purposely limited by Nintendo I am sure. I am so sure they could have cranked them out faster. People around here stood in line for them. Not me. But I figured sooner or later one would fall into my lap and that's what happened last night.

Cassie's answer on the cost is where mine was. $250 ($249.99) but it only comes with one remote. We bought a second one for $40. The games are included: Golf, tennis, baseball, bowling, and boxing.

And. . .

I am so glad to read here how everybody likes these so much. Maybe there is hope for me to become coordinated even though I am now in my dotage. (I was always that girl who could not get picked for those gym class teams. Even my best friend would not pick me. -- and to this day, I will not let her live it down. Just because I ducked every time a ball came anywhere near me. Even MY BEST FRIEND would not pick me. There I stood. On that stupid line in that gym. Wearing my baggy gym suit and my cateye glasses. MY BEST FRIEND! WOULD NOT PICK ME! -- Whew! It seems that I am still not over it.)

So anyway, I am going to give this thing a try. For some reason after the news this week, I feel like starting with boxing. I think you get to punch people and knock them down. Maybe Nintendo should market those virtual opponents with a choice of faces.

And JoannP, I just have to say that not only do I really like that avatar, but that little saying at the bottom of your screen is so wonderful and so true.
