I think that would be a great WOW factor. I had the most luck, and fun going to Lowes and Home Depot and looking through their manufacturers catalogs. I had a really wonderful bit of luck and found a HUGE antique bronze (look) chandelier for above my dining room table in a room that has a 22 foot celing! I got it for less than 150 dollars at Home Depot. It was too big I thinkto sell easily so it was reduced. Many of the light fixtures in TV that came with the houses in the past had little iddy biddy CHEAP light fixtures. They seem to be doing better in the last year or so and the light fixtures that hang in the dining room areas are bigger and better, not so the bathrooms in every case.

Lighting fixtures have gone down in price (greatly) because so many of them are imported from across the pond.

I would like to take a picture of my light fixture so you could see it, but still can't seem to get the photobucket to work. sigh.
