And they all need to watch out for chards falling from all directions. Each is trying to make the other look like the proverbial wolf in sheep's clothing. All that has happened is that issues, capabilities, experience and probable performance is left in the dust. Both are guilty there.
So, in the end we are still left with two lawyers whose only work experience is as career senators at the state/fed level or college faculty member- versus - a retired naval officer who is also a career senator and a small business owner who has been a mayor and governor. So, do we go with the lawyers or the non-lawyers? Which combo gives the least angst?
