Back from my appointment. Although I was armed with a thick file of medical records on my hip, they took a new x-ray. The orthopedist reviews the images and looks at us and says "I'm sorry but I have bad news. You will need nothing less than a total hip replacement." (Right Total Hip Arthroplasty).
Bad News!?! -- That's the greatest news I've had in a month. How soon doc? Can you do it today? Tomorrow? Next week?
So I am scheduled for the middle of March. That gives me two more months to try to lose as much weight as possible. I am a happy camper!
