I took three years off in the middle of my work life because of stress and drove a Taxi and met some of the nicest people, it was great and they appreciated a nice peaceful non-eventful ride. I picked up a few characters but learned if I let them in the car then I was letting the Devil in the house. I could be looking at them and them looking at me and I'd tell the dispatcher they weren't there. I wasn't going to get mugged to make a couple of bucks.
When I went back to the construction business I was fresh and ready to rip and loved my work with all my heart. I really do miss it but whatayagonnado? NOTHING but play the hand your dealt, gratefully!  |
