Yes, that's NOTHING but the main reason for the rush to the hospital. Besides plenty of fluids to try to push the stone through they're pumping him with pain meds trying to make it tolerable. We found one med (non-narcotic) that really helped to relieve the inflammation the first 2 times so that he didn't need to take much of the strong stuff, but the last time we went was really rough. NOTHING seemed to be working. I sure wish I could get him to drink more water overall, but I'm just the wife.

I swear if he keeps this up, I'm going to come home with an IV pole and fluids and start hanging bags on him myself......here comes Nurse Ratched.
