We're trying to get him into PT to try to correct it, but it's the usual healthcare fiasco. The doctor wants him to see someone who specializes in it and we found someone, but of course that will require additional authorization by the doctor to see him. In the meantime, we have to make sure no one in network is available. We're actually hoping he ends up having to go to the first place we found though because it is managed by a very good friend of ours who we really trust and will expedite his eval and treatment. I would just like to see him be able to walk again......he's getting so frustrated.
Anyway, today is Friday, January 25th. A new day and hopefully one with more NOTHING and less something going on.

I hope he's able to see the doctor he wants. NOTHING worse than constant pain.

Of course some of it is just the growing old too soon part.

We knew it all when we were young. You weren't going to tell me NOTHING about how to live my life. Use your legs not your back.. Yeah, right.. We should have been born old and smart then got younger.. lol

When all the dust settled here we are dealing with medical issues. The good thing in my experience Abby is that the Primary Doctors down here are Primo. Once you get sent to a Specialist it's Pot Luck, spin the wheel of chance, maybe a Hero maybe a Zero. I have a long list of Doctors to pick from. You have to work with UHC and things always work out.
I made an appointment with an Orthopedist yesterday and the best I could get for a Doctor that isn't considered a Vet was mid-February. This is part of the deal down here. I could travel if I want but the issue is just a nuisance not a Red Alert. I love the idea of local Doctors and do respect them greatly.

Got NOTHING to add to that except getting appointments here are about the same way. Need to go to the optometrist, Feb 19th. Need to go to the dentist. Made appt. last week for Feb 7th. At least we have a good urgent care close by.
