Hah - with me in the middle of so many things. Very annoying. Pet scan scheduled for today ($1,800 out of pocket without coverage) needless to say, had to be canceled. An order for blood work now needs a referral. In fact so does my hip surgery. The change could not have happened at a worse time. Even Moffitt -- I have 5 appointments scheduled in early March and now I have to get referrals for everything. And, I'm going to have to ask a brand new primary care physician to give them all to me! He/She just better not give me a hard time.

So sorry you have to go through this, BK.

I know how upset I was when my primary doctor recently left my network to partner with another group. I didn't have to change anything, just can't see her now, but I didn't think I'd have to deal with that until we moved to Florida. And unlike you, I had NOTHING going on - what a headache and at the worst possible time! Praying all works out for you. Sometimes aggravating changes in circumstances can end up in the long run working out for the better. Hope that's exactly what happens in your case!
