Saving Private Ryan was in my Blu-Ray player much of this morning and last evening. Great movie. The assistant casting director's parents live in the Villages or did the last I looked. Talked to the father of the casting director who when
Shakespeare in Love won the Oscar for Best Picture instead of
Saving Private Ryan he was quite upset. Sure like that depiction of the battle Normandy and environs of June 6, 1944 through June 13, 1944 a lot better than
Shakespeare in Love.
I saw that
Ryan movie five times when it came out and try to watch it at least once a year since.
