Expensive compared to what? The fare for A1 taxi isn't published online so it's hard to do a comparison to that.

I just checked Lyft and it is about $18 from the Brownwood area to Best Buy. But that is with a promo applied that is only good for the next 10 rides. After that it looks like it is in the ballpark of Uber.
