At that point, no. But we have been to Brooklyn since. Cruised out of Red Hook.
When we cruised from there we went a few days early to meet up with a late friend. She took us around. Showed us Coney Island, the Naval Yard/Museum and other stuff. She was an Observant Jew and showed us her neighborhood which I found very interesting. The different cultures in NY is something to behold. Had NOTHING but the best pastrami sandwich of my life there.
What really cracked me up was parking. I drive for a living and would never even consider stuffing my car into some of the places she went. Pull up, bump the car in front of you. Turn the wheel, back up, bump the car behind you. Crank the wheel, pull forward, bump the car in front of you. Wash, rinse, repeat until you're car is in the parking spot..
