You're too smart for your britches - ever heard that before? lol What you say is so true and vice versa when seeing our husbands in pain. And I do think Nucky's right, most women tolerate pain better than men. My husband would never have dental work without novocaine whereas I can't remember the last time I had it. I think I'm my dentist's hero
- lol. He gets so excited when I make it through a whole procedure without it. I just tell him it's because he's so good at what he does. Hope I don't end up eating my words on this novocaine thing though when I have to go and have something redone next week.
But I guarantee you NOTHING trumps the pain of a mother watching their child in pain - NOTHING.
