I understand where you are coming from...atleast I hear what you are saying...however...I do not think that everything we see on television or read is a fair way to see what the norm is...

I do believe that I come from a responsible family and very fortunate. I also believe that there are MANY others out there just like us. I get offended when I hear people talk about my age group in a negative light. I think it is very sad that you and more than likely many others think of us this way.

There are many 20-30 somethings that are good people, have good jobs, are responsible and are raising good children....in this VERY scary world.

I know you don't know me....probably will some day...but I really felt the need to defend what you say. I can understand sarcasim...I can be VERY sarcastic in jest. I apologize for jumping on you as I did...I honestly thought you were being serious and needed to defend.

I know there are many irresponsible people of all ages...complacent and apathetic in their lives. I find this even sadder....

So perhaps you are right....too many younger people in my generation will not know what to do when the time comes to retire!

I should just be grateful and thankful everyday that even in my 30's I can live here....obviously I do not have too many friends my own age so that really should tell me something...

I really shouldn't get so defensive...I am just so darn dramatic!!
