I would tend to agree with this statement. The question then becomes is she a better VP candidate than Sen. Biden?

If you can look at the two people without character slander, life-style choices and wardrobe, what's left is:

1. An attorney whose only job has been as a Senator, which basically is to be part of a select team to debate legal and social philosophy, never having to be responsible for a decision. Senators are the ultimate academic - always dealing in theory and rarely associated with any vote or action they do. It's the ultimate job for critics and social register crones.

2. A governor (non-attorney) whose only had the job for a couple years, but has served several years as a state comissioner and town mayor. All of these jobs have had the person in full visibility of the public for all decisions, actions, gaffes, et al. The person's record of accomplishment has resulted in becoming governor over one-fifth of the national geography; in the only state bordering more than one country, having the largest shoreline and most diverse climate; and the state which has become focal point for all ecological concerns of the national populace.

If the senator was female and the governor a male, would this even be an issue? ? ?
