What does a gator being here first have to do with anything. They are animals and people have moved or killed animals for years when they present a danger.
Would you have left all of the alligators here when the rest of The Villages was built? There would be no Villages.
What some people can't comprehend is that humans are the apex species and we have a right to make our environment as safe as possible.
