We all probably have some rotten branches in our family trees and not for NOTHING. Lots of things shape character but IMHO it is life experiences and individual choices and not DNA, color of skin, birth place nor nationality. Some of us have a lot more choices available to us than others though.
My Stimson branch of the family tree has been here since 1670 or before. They settled in Ipswich, MA. My great uncle, Roberto, claimed we were related to Henry L. Stimson but then again he often told tall stories. Henry L. Stimson was the Secretary of War during WWII.
About Henry L. Stimson | Stimson Center My great grandmother's maiden name was Stimson. The mother of my some prevarications telling great Uncle Roberto.
Incidentally, Roberto had a wife in Mexico or somewhere down there and a son. Maybe it was Costa Rica.
