We did our first 10 years with the basic chemical in the ground and annual checks by Massey - in essence we just continued the program the original owners had done and reset for a new 10-year clock. This year we just renewed but changed to the Centricon system. Seems like the bait system will be easier to see if the little buggers are mounting an attack near to us when the bait traps are checked annually. The chemical in the ground doesn't have that - you have to just hope someone notices a mud column growing up to and under the vinyl siding. Not sure really which one might be better but I like the idea of the bait stations set up around the perimeter.
Now we can hear from the other side and see if someone can tell me I made a(nother) mistake. lol
