In thinking about it further, you make a great point that the
'totality of actions/behavior'...should be taken into account.
I can't help but wonder though, how many who are adamant that both the
'good & bad' should be considered when evaluating someone like MJ...but make an exception when holding the Catholic Church accountable?
It just seems to me, that it is extremely hypocritical to condemn people like Michael Jackson for actions outside of his professional life (which I personally think is totally appropriate to condemn them)...while making excuses/giving a pass to religious institutions in the exact same circumstances.
Where's the consistency?
