I started this thread with two questions....I think...or hope I got it but open to anyone who suggest otherwise...

1. Seems that the pork may have been put in by the senate leadership (Sen Dodd seems to have his name on a lot of stuff) but it was intended for members of the house who had favorite bills stuck and had voted no earlier on the bail out.

Isnt that a great way to run the country ?

2. Actually it looks like Speaker Pelosi did NOT say "take it or leave it"...she simply said that she would not put it to a vote if there was any chance it would not pass. Not sure why !

Both parties are inept !!!!
