I fell on the floor laughing one time, when a friend of mine was complaining about some 'distant' cousins that came for a visit.
It had been almost a week...and he was NOTHING but tired of them.
His hilarious words of wisdom were; "Sometimes guests are like fish...after 3 days they start to stink." 
Of course, I later found out that the idiom...is attributed to Benjamin Franklin. 
Speaking of which...do you know how to stop fish from smelling?
