I personally couldn't care less what some folks think about the POA, as the truth is that it's the primary entity...that is willing to stand up for us residents against Da Family. 
Obviously, for anyone who is blindly loyal, supports and believes anything that Da Family does or says...I can see where the POA might engender hate.
All I can say is...oh well.
