Gracie, you are right. They need to be planted close together for pollenation and also as close in verticle & horizontal rows as well. Done all that, and the only thing I pollenate are the worms..... I had beautifully shaped ears and very healthy stalks, but as soon as I peel down the leaves, nothing but worms, no kernals. That's it, I give up. Tore up the corn fields and planted pumpkins in their place. They were very easy and fruitful and fun to grow.

Wow, this is the first time I've missed spellchecker. I see a lot of errors but can't figure out what they are??? Anyway, you get my drift.
