My suggestion, is that you split the companies. Most of the 'we do it all' companies are better at the lawn and shrubs and are not as good with what they are spraying and where they are treating inside your home. You are probably going to want someone different taking care of the outside stuff almost every year (just the way it is) , There are some several reliable companies for the home treatment that will likely be the same tech treating your home 10 years from now, and you will know them by name and all about their kids. I personally like Spears Pest Control and 5Js the best. Both are 2nd generation family business in this area.
As far as your lawn and shrubs...heh, good luck. The most important factor is your soil pH , and though some may talk to you about it, and may even test (at a charge) your pH, not a single one is going to adjust your pH to the 6.0-6.5 you should have. This makes your lawn and plants malnourished and weak , causing the pests to come running. In turn, they will need to spray LOTS of poison. The ever present catch 22 in the lawn and ornamental business it seems.
