Default Compressor Warranty

If you have a Trane (other brands too) and the compressor unit (outside part) needs replacement, it should be covered by the original warranty which is 10 years. Even if you are NOT the original owner.

I had very bad luck with DeSantis in Wildwood and very very good luck with M+S Air. Desantis told me I had to pay to have it replaced, M+S are the ones that told me Trane backs up their units even though the house was sold to new people. From the serial number, they call the Trane office and they can tell you the exact date it was installed and who installed it. Plus I like the friendly guys at M+S. (PS: The Villages uses them for service over Munns, even though Munns does most of the new installs.)
