I've had a property like you when I was a youngster, I NOTHING but outgrew the fascination with acreage. Our kids are competing now about the biggest house/property. They haven't asked me anything about it so Mums the word, they have to find their own way. I would advise against. Tell them to spend every minute with the little ones. Not plow the fields, feed the chickens, bail the hay and sneak out to the woodshed for some whoopie. Maybe the last one. LOL |

And yeah, we thought acreage was a great idea and if it wasn't for the upkeep we would remain NOTHING but happy. It's nice to be outside and not have to go inside if you need to take a leak..
