I think the answer is obvious. James intends to beat Ken Jennings’ record of 74 consecutive wins. Although Ken is amazing whenever he reappears on Jeopardy, James is a lot quicker with his answers. With the spike in viewers, I doubt that Jeopardy would be eager to see James’ winning streak end. They’ll surely be bringing him back in tournaments.
The next question should be will his notoriety affect his avocation as a sports gambler? If sports gambling is legal in Vegas, maybe there’ll be no effect. Any thoughts?
