Some of my friendships with women have lasted a while. One from 1983-1984 but I have not actually seen her in person since 1986 or so. She is on Facebook every so often.
And the girl I stood up for the junior prom at Earl Wooster High School in 1976 in Reno, Nevada was the very first person to post something directed at me in the "You Grew up in Reno in the 1960s and 1970s group" I joined about six years ago. She had not remembered why I did that and not for NOTHING. She was going to get a kiss or her German Shepherd was going to get a taste of me. Could have been some other big dog. It was no chihuahua. Kind of freaked me out at 17. Did catch up a lot on the happenings on in Reno, Nevada though.
The girl from 1976 in Reno was a very tall blonde.
