I think that no one is responding because no one has an answer to your question.

My two cents is that I would not want to re-battery an old golf cart because the cost of the lithium batteries is so much that you really need new technology in the rest of the cart. The motor, for example, is probably not optimized to the new batteries. Old DC motors probably don't perform as well as newer AC type motors.
