We listened to NONE of them (nor any of the bashers on here) & plan on buying in McClure, Monarch Grove or Marsh Bend sometime this summer. Can't wait to live down there.

This is the impression hubby and I got when we first drove on 468 down south the see Fenney. We had a very bad feeling about it. We were told by one of The Villages sales people all those undesirable "homes" were going to be knocked down. So far, that has not been done. Those areas look very seedy to us and we do not want to have to pass them when driving to our oasis neighborhood and dream home.
This is not bashing....this is truly how we feel. Anyone who is not bothered by those seedy areas are very welcome to enjoy Southern Oaks and all its absolute serenity and beauty. Just keep in mind what is around your bubble down there.
