My experience is that they never do, and being kind is something that comes from rejecting lies. Nothing but honoring our basic commandments will do it. Again, bearing false witness and judging from a posture of "above it all" and lack of facts is not considered to be a recipe for kindness in any society of which I am aware. Humility works

Of course, I speak from a lowly position, but believe kindness comes from knowing, understanding, and rejection of anything dis honest.
