Realize, I'm not a doctor and you've not said what your infusions are for.
I had antibiotic infusions twice a day for about two weeks.
I had a pic line installed and we did it at home. That means my wife did it. My sister does have cancer. She too got infusions at home. I understand she did it alone. I would not suggest you do this if you can avoid it. I have no idea how someone could operate the twist connectors they use.
As to jump through hoops. There are procedures for everything.
They will not deliver anything to you without contacting the doctor who ordered the infusion. I would expect they need a written letter. Today while it is expensive, you can arrange same day delivery.
Again, I don't know the details of your condition. Fortunately or perhaps unfortunately, every unique hassle, is not unique and has been conquered before. Perhaps, calling the doctor who prescribed the infusion will get you help on what needs doing and how to get it done.
