NOTHING but made it home in one piece. Lots of water, some very cool lightning that K would have enjoyed seeing, but luckily I was driving away from the storm and not into it. All you could hear at work today were cell phones alerts (both ours and the customers) going off every 15-30 minutes for hours on end. I can't tell you how many "go to safety now" messages I got. The skies went completely dark around 5pm, the rain was driving hard and sometimes even sideways, and debri was banging onto the big windows at the front of our store, but I was NOT going down to that disgusting basement - lol. We decided running over to the restaurant next door and hitting their wine cellar might be a better idea.
