Robert and I went a few weeks ago. I thought the food was very good. In my experience (which, stipulated, is not grand in Vietnamese cuisine), the food is unlike any other Asian food I can think of. It is certainly NOT like Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Korean or Indian, with all of which I have moderate experience. Not a lot of spices are used—pepper in particular— however fresh herbs like cilantro and mint are often used. And it is fresh, fresh, fresh!
We’ll definitely go again.
I’d love to hear comments from some people who are familiar with the cuisine.
