In 1978 I took my children to Disneyworld. It was summertime, hot and humid, which left us all sweaty and diminished our energy and enthusiasm. My grandmother and an aunt took me to Disneyland in 1956, the year after it opened. I was 14 years old and totally enjoyed it. There were very pretty California girls around my age all over the place!
