Must be nice. As for me, put in a busy day at work, met up with my husband afterwards to put in a few miles at the track, then came home to about 100 people having a block party in the street right outside our house. We knew about it, but were hoping to get back just in time for it to be over since we both put in long days elsewhere today. So I said to my hubby (the neighborhood mayor as they call him), while you go out and entertain the masses, I'm going inside to do NOTHING.

Some parts of the Villages have a lot of block parties and not for NOTHING. We used to have every other month neighbor get togethers but the Parkland shooting affecting one of the homes in our tight knit group of houses kind of dampened that bi-monthly outing. They moved and a nice couple moved in but NOTHING is the same really after having known this group of people since 2005 or so. Give or take a year for most of us. A lost grand daughter can have quite a deep effect even on close neighbors.
