We bought our home in Winifred 3 and a half years ago. Have been full time for over two years. We feel like the luckiest people in the world as it was the 4th house we looked at. We would never sell our home here strickly because of our neighbors. I am sure that everyone thinks they live in the best village, however Winifred is in fact the best
Just on our block there are 24 of us that golf every sunday. There is not one day of the week that less than 8 go out and golf together.
There is only one way in and one way out of Winifred by car. Many of the streets including ours are cul de sac which I believe makes for friendlier neighbors. Winifred is also a very small village. Close to Palmer and Laurel Manor and shopping.
I am sure that not all streets are as close as ours. We have our own street social club and there is a very active Winifred social club. People at the neighborhood pool are very friendly.
We have had one small area right where Winifred way makes the sharp right hand curve that has had a few sink hole problems.
