Lots of good advice here. Definitely explore in your golf cart to see the neighborhoods. The Villages GPS app is great to get directions in a car and a golf cart. Very inexpensive app that will saving you from getting lost. Definitely check out all the town centers to see where you may want to be. We love The feel of Sumter Landing but everyone is different. I agree take the trolley rides to get some history of the place. Go down to the frontier, also know as the Fenney area. That is where all the new building is going on so you should drive around the area. The Villages is so huge that you may be overwhelmed at first, so focusing on separate areas and rec centers each day may make it more manageable.
