As we age we need to consistently evaluate our limitations more and more. I know when I first retired that I tried to do too much. Unfortunately, most of us “learn the hard way”. Slow down and don’t expect so much of yourself. My advice would be to rest at least two days a week by doing something that doesn’t require all that much energy such as taking in a movie, concert, church, or just curling up on the couch or around the pool with a good book with your spouse or significant other. Five days a week is more than enough golf, pickleball, softball or whatever...
