I have seen pictures of the black and white (checkerboard) garage floors, and I think these are actually tile, and this might be a DIY type project, not sure. If you are talking about a black and white epoxy flake floor, there are a few contractors that do this, I would not attempt this on my own. Sherwin Williams sells H&C (xylene based) concrete paints, which I had done about 5 years ago on our driveway with excellent results. Just getting ready to do the first sealing. In any case, when painting the garage or driveway, make sure you get (or have) 'shark grip' or equal added to the paint or the final coat, otherwise you could end up with a skating rink when wet.
