Florida ranks 46th out of 51 States regarding Teacher pay. That says much. A few years ago the Daily Sun published a report regarding the loss of teachers moving across the State line to Georgia for better pay. The Villages has an excellent Charter School (give the Developer credit)but the Charter School is only for children of employees employed within The Villages. It would be great if all of Florida’s children had schools to attend similar to the Villages Charter schools. Celebration really can’t be compared to The Villages for the many reasons already mentioned in prior posts. If you went to work everyday in the Orlando area, Celebration would definitely be a community worth exploring. Bottom line, in no way can you compare the two communities.
