When I researched the total cost of ownership the pool home including weekly maintenance, insurance, taxes and figuring $50 a month for pump replacement and other needed repairs was $2500.00 more per year. Since we really aren’t swimmers we opted for the view home. I could see it going either way, the extra expense being well worth it if you like to be in the pool a lot. Good luck in your decision.
Actually, my taxes barely went up. Pool service is $1380 per year. Our pool is 4.5 years old and (knock on wood) Zero $ for repairs.
