I liked it better than trying to figure out points. My thought on improvement would be to award the same number of points for each tournament throughout the year. Never mind giving more points for majors. This in encouraging golfers to pick which events to play in. You want to win big bucks play them all. Make the purse for majors be the substantial difference from the other tournaments.
