Not wanting to bash someone but do you not read the news, watch the news, talk to realtors or keep up with what is going on in the world. Lived in a far off part of the US after Andrew and read when the laws were updated. Some of the most stringent building codes due to hurricanes were enacted down there. Now are followed by most FL communities.
