I know there is debate about having a pre-move-in inspection done by a home inspector, but we decided to do it, just for peace of mind.

He was very professional and provided a detailed report with photos and descriptions of each discrepancy/issue. He found 32 items total that need to be corrected, many of which I know I would not have noticed.
