Exactly right...almost unimaginable!!
And to think that it might last for up to two days...simply boggles the mind.
Even if I was sitting in the best prepared location on any of the islands, I can't even fathom having the wind screaming, rain by the feet and watching a potential 20 ft. storm surge, come onto an island that's highest points are about 10'-15' above normal sea level...for that long of time.
On Edit: As was pointed out in another thread, this is incorrect, as this height above sea level actually only applies to Abaco's largest community...Marsh Harbor.
