Instead I go to my neighborhood site and ask. They are always very helpful. The difference is, on the neighborhood site, you may run into one of these neighbors who respond, so they are usually polite and informative. On this site, you may never know the person who responded as they are hiding behind a keyboard.

I just put some posters on the Ignore List if they have a habit of making that kind of response to legitimate concerns.
