I live north of 466 and in November we will be electing one person from each of the CDDs to be our voice in the handling of the amenity funds from the lawsuit. There is a lot of money involved and a lot of areas to cover and I want to elect the candidate that has my best interests in mind.

But there is a problem. With the exception of the lame information presented in the VHA insert the other week, I have no idea who the candidates are, what their background is and what their goals are for handling the money. I do not think that the eeny-meeny-miny-moe approach will work.

I am into clubs that have elections for Board of Directors members that have more publicity than these candidates.

I went to the AAC site on the Villages website to look at the candidates and there is nothing. It sends you back to the AAC information website. I will call tomorrow to see if this is a problem and if the bios are really out there.

Does anyone in CDD 1-4 have any idea who the candidates are, what their goals are for the AAC, etc?

How can you vote for anyone if you do not know anything about them?
