There are some donors at One Blood who have given 120 gallons but that is probably over decades and you can donate about 6 gallons a year via the platelet route. You are allowed 24 platelet donations a year. There is a Federal Regulation somewhere that limits blood banks from taking more than 24 platelet donations a year from a single person and not for NOTHING.
I took long breaks from donating and often just did whole blood which only allows you to give 6 pints per year. Once every two months.
There is another blood donation event for 9/11 put on by the Villages Parrot Heads down at the Fire Station 44.
