Originally, Trump intended to visit on August 6th, but had to postpone after the tragedies in El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio. In the announcement yesterday afternoon, The White House confirmed most of the original plans are intact.

According to John Temple, the Sumter County Republican Executive Committee chairman, anyone who had an invitation from the previosuly scheduled visit should expect to see a confirmation from the White House soon. In an interview with the Daily Sun, Temple remarked,

“It’s my understanding if you were on the list previously, you’ll be on the list this time. The invitations are from the White House, not from the local REC or any of the clubs.”

The day Trump vists happens to also be the same day the Villagers for Trump throw their second Trump Day Dinner. This dinner will welcome Stephen Baldwin, actor and political activist, as a guest speaker.

It is reminded that Trump’s upcoming visit is not a campaign rally, and a guest list is already decided. For any questions or comments about ticket concerns, people are advised to visit whitehouse.gov/contact.

Reminder: This is a public service announcement, not an invitation to get into politics.
